- First FishO Memory – the first couple of minutes of my very first FishO final, casting a feeder to the far bank turning to chat to a friend behind me to hear a huge splash from a fish-spooking near the far bank and turning round to see my rod almost being pulled in…. The perfect start…. If only it had lasted all day!

- First FishO memory whether from competing or watching – Qualifying for my first FishO from Willinghurst Fishery aged 21, using a Preston method feeder with pennies glued to the bottom for extra weight.
